On Sunday April 20, 2025, about 1:45 a.m. Police Officers from the Babonneau Police Station responded to a report of a shooting at Fond Assau, Babonneau, which resulted in the death of one (1) male and injury of another male victim.
First responders observed the male victims at the scene, bearing apparent gunshot wounds. Both were conveyed to medical facilities for medical attention. An attending medical practitioner pronounced one of the two victims dead, following an assessment.
The victim has been identified as twenty-six (26) year old Tommy Joseph alias “Tomchu” of Fond Assau, Babonneau.
The second victim remains in the care of medical professionals.
