Orbtronics Launches Saint Lucia’s First Innovation Hub, Ushering in a New Era for Tech and Entrepreneurship in the Region

Must Read

Orbtronics Ltd. has officially launched Saint Lucia’s first co-working and innovation hub, signaling a bold leap forward for the island’s tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem. The milestone event, hosted at the Harbor Club Hotel, attracted a distinguished audience of government leaders, diplomats, private sector players, and creative minds from across the island and diaspora.

The Innovation Hub—powered by Orbtronics—aims to be more than just a physical space. It is designed as a launchpad for regional innovation, offering world-class co-working amenities, accelerator programs, mentorship, and access to a growing community of forward-thinkers across the Caribbean.

This Hub marks the first physical step in building the Caribbean’s very own “Silicon Forest”—Orbtronics’ bold vision for a regional innovation corridor inspired by Silicon Valley, but rooted in the culture, talent, and creativity of the Caribbean.

The event was attended by several high-profile guests, including:

Hon. Philip J. Pierre, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia and Minister for Finance, Economic Development, and the Youth Economy

Her Excellency Nicole Y.C. Su, Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan)

Dr. Didacus Jules, Director-General of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS)

Members of the Innovation Hub, Heads of Government Departments, Private Sector Executives, and members of the Saint Lucian media.

Their presence underscored the strategic importance of Orbtronics’ mission to foster digital transformation and create new economic pathways for youth and innovators.

A Vision Born of St. Lucia’s Sons of the Soil

The founders of Orbtronics—Keeghan Patrick, Shergaun Roserie, and Dylan Paul—delivered a compelling pitch outlining the birth and evolution of the Hub. All three are Saint Lucian-born, globally trained, and deeply passionate about reshaping opportunities for Caribbean youth through technology.

Keeghan, a graduate of MIT and Harvard Business School programs, has a background in advanced manufacturing and product design. Shergaun is a mechanical engineering master’s student at Stanford with experience at Microsoft and Cummins, and a commitment to inclusive tech design. Dylan, a Harvard MBA and former J.P. Morgan investment banker, brings deep expertise in financial strategy and business development. Together, they’ve created a platform that bridges global innovation with local talent—positioning Saint Lucia as a rising player in the digital economy.

In their keynote addresses, Dr. Didacus Jules and Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre both emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships to accelerate the region’s innovation capacity.

Dr. Jules lauded the Hub as a model for regional collaboration and called for policies that align government, academia, and private sector goals to support innovation. Prime Minister Pierre echoed this sentiment, championing entrepreneurship as a “critical engine for economic growth” and encouraging more young Saint Lucians to pursue creative and tech-based ventures.

The event was also blessed by a musical performance by Saint Lucian singer-songwriter Michael “MR” Robinson.

As the formal ceremony closed, guests were treated to the very first exclusive tour of the Orbtronics Innovation Hub, followed by an engaging networking session and cocktail hour at the Hub.

Now Open: Innovation Hub Memberships Available

As of March 31, 2025, the Innovation Hub is now officially open to it’s members. Located in Gros-Islet, at the Rodney Bay Commercial Center.

The hub offers high-speed internet, flexible desk and office spaces, mentorship programs, exclusive member events, and discounted access to Orbtronics’ tech services.
