Arrest and Charges preferred against Noel Nugent

On Thursday, December 5, 2024, about 3:00 p.m. officers attached to the Gros Islet Police Station, responded to a report of vehicular assault at Rodney Heights, Gros Islet. The initial report indicated that a male suspect had driven his motorcar into a construction facility, following a confrontation with workers of the establishment.

Officers launched investigations into the matter and formally arrested Noel Nugent of Bella Rosa, Gros Islet.  On Wednesday December 11, 2024, he was charged with the offences Dangerous Driving, Damage to Property, Harm and Grievous Harm. 

He was escorted to the First District Court for a bail hearing, which he was granted, in the sum of thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) cash or suitable surety. Noel Nugent’s Driver’s Licence was also suspended, pending the outcome of the matter.
